MSP billing without a PSA
Plenty of MSPs run an RMM like Atera but no billing-capable PSA - so pricing lives in a spreadsheet or someone's head. The Rate Card fixes that: it discovers the device types and products flowing through your tools and asks one thing - what do you charge?
Set your prices once. Applied everywhere.
Bundles
Sell several services as one flat-priced bundle
Combine multiple products or services into one flat-priced package. MSPBilling.cloud tracks the items inside the bundle while presenting a single clear line on the client's draft invoice.
Rate card
Self-populating rate card
The rate card pulls the device types actually being managed from your RMM, and the products being resold from your connected distributors, automatically. You don't build a price list from scratch, you fill in the numbers next to what's already there: a fixed price per device type, and a markup percentage on resold licences.
- Device types populate automatically from your RMM
- Resold products populate automatically from connected distributors
- Set a fixed price or a markup once, applied consistently going forward
Pricing models
Per-device and per-seat billing
Managed device pricing and licence-seat pricing behave differently, and the rate card handles both. Devices are billed per unit managed, licences are billed per seat with your markup applied, so a laptop under management and a resold Microsoft 365 seat are priced correctly without extra setup.
Discounts
Per-client discounts
Not every client pays the same rate. You can apply a per-client discount on top of the base rate card, useful for long-term clients, bundled deals, or negotiated pricing, without maintaining a separate price list for each one.
Invoicing
Then invoice it
Once your rate card is set, invoicing follows the same reconciled-data flow as anywhere else in the platform: device and seat counts are pulled from your connected tools, priced using your rate card, and you can push invoices to Xero in one action.
Atera integration
Made for Atera-only MSPs
If Atera is your only system of record, the rate card is what replaces the PSA's billing function. See how the Atera integration works with device data to build accurate, per-client invoices.
